William's Birthday/ Halloween pics

Ok so I didn't have my camera for most of the important things at William's birthday party and I've been hoping for copies from people that were there and this is what I have so far...enjoy! PS yes he walks by himself everywhere and anywhere...

And Michelle requested these.... so here you go..

AAACK!!!!

So a friend of mine gets phished quite frequently on myspace. So a few days ago spam was being sent out from her account and I dropped her a line to say ..."hey dummy your account got phished again!" Then when I tried to login yesterday I got a notice that my account had been phished. Now let me tell you about "phishing"....some individuals are quite skilled at creating fake myspace homepages and get you to login to their page then *poof* they have your e-mail and password and send out mass e-mails,bulletins, and comments all from your myspace account. Now because I had written to my friend after she had been phished the wonderful people behind myspace figured I had been too and locked my account. Now here's the thing ...I hadn't been phished! And to top everything off I didn't know my password...it was saved to my computer...therefore I couldn't have entered it on anyone's site except the real myspace. So I contacted customer service which promptly replied with a very generic e-mail...they obviously had not read my e-mail. So I replied and sent them the info they required again along with my story...SIX e-mails later I was to this point.... see below

Please quit sending me generic phishing e-mails! I need a new password so I can login. YOU BLOCKED THE WRONG PERSON!!!!!! I was NOT phished I repeat was NOT!!!!! Now please read my previous e-mail closely..... I need a password because I don't know mine but when I request it through the login screen nothing happens...I've been trying to retrieve my password for months now and now that I've been locked out because I supposedly was phished....which I wasn't BTW go back and look, my friend Aerin Dragonsong was ...NOT ME!!!
Also here's my salute....this is me... see attached photo....send me a new password to this e-mail address PLEASE!?!

Shawnra

**Side note... I was furious at this point and just wanted to delete my account which they wouldn't allow. Unbelieveable!!! And a salute is a pic of myself. I had to send 2! Not one but 2!! Because they wanted a better photo and a different note(see below). AAAACK!!

So 8 e-mails later I simply sent this reply.... "Quit sending generic e-mails and actually read the MESSAGE!!!". To which I finally received this reply today

"Hello,

Your request has been fulfilled!"

Unfrickinbelievable!!! AAACK!!!! (but everything is fixed now)

More projects...

So on Wednesday night I was cleaned the master bathroom and I asked John to turn on the fan to circulate the air (I can't reach the pull, and I'm scared I'll pull the whole thing down on me...). So he comes in and turns off the light by mistake and fumbling around in the dark he tried to click it back on and mistakenly snapped the pull off. So I plugged in a nightlight to use for the rest of the night and heard a loud pop and saw a spark. The plug blew! What next was all I could think. See the previous owners thought all that was needed in that bathroom was the ceiling fan with a light kit (that didn't belong to that fan it was way to big... I'd hit my head on it sometimes), and they installed the wrong outlets for a bathroom. They were regular plugs but bathrooms are supposed to have GFI's( which are the ones with switches that shutoff the plug if water comes into contact with it. Enter my electrician husband to the rescue. After I spent more than an hour at Lowe's the next day only to walk away with nothing...John came home with a vanity light kit and new GFI plugs.Yeah! Here's the finished product the new Vanity lights(I had to take 2 bulbs out because they're soooo bright!), the improved ceiling fan.

***Additional note*** John wanted to make sure I add that this is considered a re-model since there was no vanity before.

Completed projects...almost

So John finally got around to converting our mud room back into a closet so now it just needs a coat of paint and it will be good to go, but for now I'm just happy to have a place to hang William's clothes as well as some maternity clothes for me.

The previous owners of our home converted the master bedroom into a living area, then took out the closet to the master and converted it into a media room of sorts. Which was useless to us as we needed a master bedroom/closet (the closet in William's room is just arranged so oddly that it's not really functionable for what I need). So when we moved in John added double doors (folding closet doors) and the extra living room was converted back into the master bedroom. Now finally after asking him every now and then and suffering a minor breakdown (most likely caused by the pregnancy hormones influence) he relented and made the mudroom into a functionable closet for us again. when he was done he asked if I wanted anything else done (I think he was being sarcastic, to which I relpied that I'd like him to hang the cabinet I had purchased months ago. After moaning and groaning he finished....yeah! Now I have a place to store my movies that inappropriate for William (mostly horror films...I have a huge collection), and anything else I'd like to store.

Hey wait .....come back here!!

So William is walking all the time now, and I find myself saying ..."where are you going??" and "Get back here young man!" more than once in a day. John didn't believe me that he was walking until he happened to see it for himself. Now I encourage William to walk where ever we are and John just picks him up ...lol for someone that couldn't wait until William was walking he sure is holding him back ...LOL! Here a few recent shots of William doing whatever he likes....

Whew..busy busy...time for an update!

Ok so here are some photos from recents events in our life.... October 1st my birthday dinner at Outback...yum!

An Ancheta Wedding .... Phillip & Rebekah Ancheta October 11th

The wedding was short and sweet...I didn't cry (it's easy not to when you can't see the bride and groom) but I was kinda choked up. Looking around the church it was amazing to see all of the couples looking at their own rings seeming to remember their own vows and the committment they made before God and family. Amazing. Then it was on to the reception... what is it with this family?! No dancing!! I was out there on the first song they made available to all of us and I was the only one besides the DJ (who completes in ballroom) dancing. I had William on my hip...and eventually managed to drag John out on the dance floor. After a bit he complained and escaped back to the table. So I turned my attentions to the rest of the family dragged out Keshia, Tristy, attempted to get Marci, and Chad's GF Amanda without success. However I managed to get the kids out on the floor without being embrassed at least....but I'd have to say my own personal highlight was getting a large group to line dance...yeah me! I thought I'd include a video of William enjoying the light show provided by the DJ...

Up next we have William opening his early Birthday gift from the LA Ancheta's....

It's safe to say he loves it! He tried immediately to pull it out of its package, so I worked on getting all the twist ties removed and handed the dump truck over. I know he loved it because he promptly found a way to hurt me with it...but don't worry I'm fine the swelling of my nose went down overnight, and I was able to pull the rake out of my hair within minutes of it getting stuck...hehe. As long as William is happy so am I, who cares if I couldn't breathe on one side and I had to cut a chunk out my hair... as long as he's laughing all is as it should be.LOL!!(I was joking about some of that but you'll have to ask what...)

Is there more?

And last but not least ...a few pictures of my handsome boy hanging out around the house...just being a monster!
