Luca & William

So I joined a gym and I've been working out on a regular basis...and I hope to see changes soon.

William busted his lip last night...ouch
Show Mommy your lip

One cool dude

Luca is a huge gas bomb now that the trainer that's working with put me on a diet that requires alot of broccoli and fresh salads. So watch out...phew.

John is currently studying for the CA Electricians Exam... he needs to pass it this go around or he loses his job...so pray he passes, he'll be taking it next week.

We got a new car and I love it soo much I'm thinking about getting personalized veteran plates.

Cowboy Lasagna

You know you want to try it....

What you need:

Ground Beef
Onion chopped
Garlic cloves
Oven ready or non cook Lasagna noodles
2 cans of Spaghetti sauce
Ricotta cheese
Parmesan cheese
Pepperoni
Olives
1 Skillet

Brown ground beef with chopped onions and garlic. Drain. Begin to layer in skillet... ground beef, pepperoni, olives, noodles, spread ricotta cheese over noodles, add one can of sauce... repeat and top with Parmesan cheese. (make sure the noodles are completely covered in each layer) Leave on the stove on low heat for 10 minutes then turn off the heat and let it sit. It's ready to eat when the noodles are soft. (If you prefer you can use noodles that need to boil first to cut preparation time down...but then you'll have 2 pans to clean instead of just 1 ...you decide)

Bakerella shortcut

So those of you that follow Bakerella's blog know that she's posted a cake pop for Mother's Day (next Sunday May 10th). Well I have a shortcut for that recipe. Instead of actually going through the tedious steps she listed try this one on for size.

You'll need:

A Flower pot of your choice
1 Styrofoam block (go for the green one)
Decorative moss
Popsicle sticks
Marshmallows
Frosting (vanilla is probably best)
Good & Plenty's/ Licorice pastels or Pastel candy corns...your choice
lemon heads

Prepare your pot by inserting the Styrofoam block. Skewer one marshmallow on each stick and coat the top portion with icing. Arrange candy of choice into petals, and and a lemon head into the center. Allow the icing to harden and arrange your flowers in the pot.

Now should anyone actually try this let me know. I plan on trying this myself but I just need to find the time to do it. LOL
