Wondering

So I'd like to know your opinion of this ... I found it posted on www.perezhilton.com.

Kate Gosselin Loses It With Kids

Kate Gosselin is beginning to crack!!!

Either that or she really does love being in the tabloids.

Photogs captured Kate losing her temper with one of the sextuplets, Leah, on Saturday morning. As Kate was on the phone, Leah was blowing a whistle. After Kate asked her to stop, Leah blew on the whistle again and Kate became enraged.

She rose from her seat, came over, and spanked the little girl! In front of the cameras!

A witness tellsInTouch, "The girl was screaming and crying. Kate just pushed her away and walked off with her coffee. Her older sisters were trying to make Leah feel better.”

Oy, not a good move, Kate. Doesn't help your image at all, since your trying to avoid being labeled an abusive parent.

Of course, in light of this news, the experts had to be called in to see if this was a serious offense on Kate's part. Though there is no laws against spanking and the parental community is divided on the practice.

In a public statement, Kate stands firm behind the feeling that how she disciplines her children in public or private is her decision.

We do think Kate should have thought about those damn cameras before reacting the way she did.

What do U think about Kate's reaction?

So personally I don't want to be one of those parents that spanks because if I were to spank...I think it would be coming from a place of anger. And I definately do not want to spank because I've lost my temper. That being said I'm not against punishment I just think that a parent should have the right frame of mind when dispensing the chosen form of punishment... so they don't lose control. Now with Kate G. she's had such bad publicity lately I don't think she can afford to spank her children in public especially after the pre- interview incident with Mady... (see link below) Fellow Mommies weigh in please I would love to hear what you think.

So I saw this posted somewhere else...I'm supposed to take the first 10 songs from a playlist of my choice(my gym playlist) and give the first 2 lines of each song and you guess the song to prove how well you know me.

1. "Super Trooper lights are gonna find me,but I won't feel blue..."

2."I used to rule the world, Seas would rise when I gave the word..."

3."You could have knocked me out with a feather, I know you've heard all this before but we're just hell's neighbors..."

4. "What's with these homies dissing my girl? Why do they gotta front?"

5. "I'll take you home if you don't leave me at the front door (leave me at the front door), your body is cold but girl we're getting so warm..."

6. "Oh Mickey you're so fine, you're so fine you blow my mind..."

7. "Cheater cheater where'd you meet her, down at Ernies Bar? Did she smile your way twirl her hair and say how cute your dimples are?"

8. "I wake up every evening with a big smile on my face, and it never feels out of place..."

9. "I was there when the men came and told us all the news, father forgive them for they know not what they do..."

10. "I am driving, I am late for work spilling coffee down my whitest shirt..."

***Bonus***
"They've got shiny cars and polished nails, yeah those girls they've got everything right"

Good luck!

Ps this does mean you'll need to comment to respond...and I do expect at least one comment...come on show me some blogger love!

Luca is a huge gas bomb now that the trainer that's working with put me on a diet that requires alot of broccoli and fresh salads. So watch out...phew.

John is currently studying for the CA Electricians Exam... he needs to pass it this go around or he loses his job...so pray he passes, he'll be taking it next week.

Cowboy Lasagna

You know you want to try it....

What you need:

Ground Beef
Onion chopped
Garlic cloves
Oven ready or non cook Lasagna noodles
2 cans of Spaghetti sauce
Ricotta cheese
Parmesan cheese
Pepperoni
Olives
1 Skillet

Brown ground beef with chopped onions and garlic. Drain. Begin to layer in skillet... ground beef, pepperoni, olives, noodles, spread ricotta cheese over noodles, add one can of sauce... repeat and top with Parmesan cheese. (make sure the noodles are completely covered in each layer) Leave on the stove on low heat for 10 minutes then turn off the heat and let it sit. It's ready to eat when the noodles are soft. (If you prefer you can use noodles that need to boil first to cut preparation time down...but then you'll have 2 pans to clean instead of just 1 ...you decide)

Bakerella shortcut

So those of you that follow Bakerella's blog know that she's posted a cake pop for Mother's Day (next Sunday May 10th). Well I have a shortcut for that recipe. Instead of actually going through the tedious steps she listed try this one on for size.

You'll need:

A Flower pot of your choice
1 Styrofoam block (go for the green one)
Decorative moss
Popsicle sticks
Marshmallows
Frosting (vanilla is probably best)
Good & Plenty's/ Licorice pastels or Pastel candy corns...your choice
lemon heads

Prepare your pot by inserting the Styrofoam block. Skewer one marshmallow on each stick and coat the top portion with icing. Arrange candy of choice into petals, and and a lemon head into the center. Allow the icing to harden and arrange your flowers in the pot.

Now should anyone actually try this let me know. I plan on trying this myself but I just need to find the time to do it. LOL

Ladies a save your hair mission... if you will

So I've been reading the Pioneer woman blog and I decided maybe a vinegar rinse is for me. I've tried baking soda with water as a shampoo to remove all of the chlorine from my hair (when I used to log in hours and hours at the pool), but now I think I'll try the vinegar. And I want all of the ladies to join me, not in the shower but on the mission to regain (or actually gain for the first time) beautiful shiny voluminous hair. (OH if you happen to be a long haired male...feel free to try this with us). Here is PW's recipe...

I grabbed a plastic bottle from my kitchen cabinet and filled it with a solution of half vinegar, half warm water. Then I grabbed some essential oil (a mix of lavender and rosemary) and added a tiny drop, just to kill the vinegar smell. In the shower, after I washed my hair (this is getting personal; sorry), I leaned back my head and poured it all over my scalp, letting it run down the length of my hair. Then I left it on for a couple of minutes while I fished all my other shower shenanigans, and rinsed it a final time.
In the week I've been regularly rinsing my hair with vinegar, here’s what’s happened:
* My girls have both separately said, “Mommy, your hair is so shiny.”
* My hair feels cleaner than it has ever felt.
* My hair feels thicker than it has felt in a long time. I think the vinegar is stripping away so much gunk that it’s finally feeling alive again.
* I smell faintly like pickles.
* But I’m okay with that for now.
The experiment is still continuing

Let me know how it works for you. And I'll keep you posted as well.

A must see new park....

I kid you not this place was amazing! I had a hard time resisting the urge to play right along with John and William but hey someone had to keep an eye on Luca. John spied the park while taking a shortcut home, and has been hinting about it ever since. So we decided to hit it up after a stop at the chiropractor yesterday and the following pictures are the results of our adventure. Now you decide who the playground is really meant for...
